TES Ambassadors: Helping You to Stay Connected

Since the launch of our TES Alumni Programmes earlier this year, we have seen the community go from strength to strength, with more and more former students, staff and friends joining every single day. With TES graduates taking up residence at universities around the world and embarking on exciting new careers, it’s easy to see why our school community is represented on almost every continent. At present, there are over 600 TES graduates located in over 30 countries. Our class of 2017 alone are spread over the UK (25%), Europe (23%), North America (44%) and East Asia (5%). In addition, there are many more students around the world who spent a shorter time at TES before moving on.

Thankfully, leaving TES does not mean that you are no longer connected to the school and all the people who are, or have been, a part of it. Those leaving the school are finding a great network beyond TES – a young and dynamic community that can help them stay connected with each other and with the school, as well as a useful network as they move on in their professional lives. Our Alumni Services can help you to stay connected to the school community as a member or as a TES Alumni Ambassador.

We currently have ambassadors in the UK, USA, Germany, France, Canada, Switzerland and Taiwan and we are proud to have these people representing our school across the globe. These ambassadors are perfectly placed to help new TES graduates in their transition to university and settling in a new country. They are happy to be contacted for advice and can tell you how you can keep up-to-date with developments at the school and make sure you don’t lose touch with your former friends and teachers. They are also able to share their experiences as students, global citizens and leaders of industry and the arts.

If you have moved to any of the countries where we currently have Alumni Ambassadors and you want to reconnect with former schoolmates, our ambassadors will be more than happy to help. Simply sign up with the TES community and send the Alumni office an email so that we can put you in touch with each other. If you have moved to a country that doesn’t have a TES ambassador yet, why not consider volunteering for this important role? Helping fellow alumni, as well as helping us to grow our community, is a very rewarding experience and we look forward to hearing from you if you are interested.
