Our Under 15 FOBISIA team competed this week in Phuket. Mr Chow reflects on this experience below. Please also enjoy our highlight video of the tournament!
As I write this short blog the students have had their gala dinner and are just winding down before “lights out” for bed. Our students have had a tremendous time and have definitely honored this year’s school motto of ‘stand up and stand out’.
A huge ‘thank you’ must go to many people who have made this trip such a success: To all of our parents for their support of the FOBISIA and TES Sports programmes. Also, to the coaches Ms Barry, Mr Lee, Mr Harris and Mr Woodall, my eternal gratitude goes to them for all the endless hours of coaching and being a great support on the trip.
It’s probably the toughest U15 FOBISIA games I been to in my 19 years involved with FOBISIA, but also one of the most rewarding in terms of seeing some of our perceived “fringe” players becoming key players at these games.
Now begins the trials for the U13s Fobisia games next week!
