Making Recycled Paper

By Hendrik Cheng and Ina Liang

When the GS classes have paper that they don’t want to keep, they put the paper in a special bin. When they have time, they make new paper from the papers from the bin.

The instructions to do this are:

  1. Cut scrap paper into small pieces .
  2. Blend it in a blender with water and cornstarch.
  3. Put it on a grid and use a sponge to suck the water.
  4. Let it dry.
  5. It is now new paper!!

This year, the GS class made Christmas cards with their recycled  paper to sell at the Christmas Market.
